2024 update and Thank you!
Dear Friend,
Thank you for your generous donation of to One Special Christmas.
We’re thrilled about the success of our 2024 charity auction, and we’re most grateful to you for supporting us in this meaningful community service. Together, we raised an incredible $52,000! Your generosity has allowed us to brighten the lives of several families facing unimaginable challenges this year.
With your help, we were able to bring joy to an 8-year-old girl who is bravely fighting two types of leukemia. Her single mother, unable to work as she remains by her daughter’s side, has struggled with bills during this difficult time. Despite their challenges, they had a magical Christmas filled with beautiful memories. The little girl squealed with delight as she opened gifts specially chosen for her, bringing light into their otherwise heavy days.
We also granted Christmas wishes and supported three families grieving the recent loss of their fathers. Among these, we are helping one family secure reliable transportation after months of struggling without a vehicle. Another family will soon enjoy a snow tubing trip to create lasting memories together, and for a third family, we were able to assist with rent, easing their financial burden during this heartbreaking time.
Lastly, we brought Christmas joy to a family of seven whose mother is battling breast cancer. After a year of mounting hardships, we caught up their mortgage payments, giving them relief and peace of mind as they face this battle.
One of the moms you blessed sent a heartfelt note, saying:
“Thank you! I greatly appreciate you for allowing God to use you to be a blessing in my family’s life. I truly am forever grateful.”
